about

"Flowers on Both Ears is a captivating gesture of love and elegant confusion from Sri Lanka.
‘Amiga, Mi Corazon’ steamed up my car windscreen. I sense some sharp Latin teeth behind the smile of 'Pheonix Zeylanica’.
These five songs left me with the fiery and a woody aftertaste of something that can both sweeten and burn. " -- Andras

“What a truly unique, flowing, fluid, fluent, multi-lingual,
spiritual-pop intersection. Stoked I was made aware
of this lovely musical energy / expression, that is equally
devotional and sensual, Earthly and Cosmic naturalness!
Highly Recommended!” -- Carlos Niño

Flowers On Both Ears Colombo, Sri Lanka

Flowers on Both Ears are a duo based in Sri Lanka. They draw inspiration from a worldview based on their Islamic faith: The world of nature, understood as articulations of the cosmic Quran, in the breath of the All- Merciful.

Their songs are an attempt at thematically connecting with certain traditions of Islamic love poetry. Where human and divine love, transpire in the breath of the Merciful.
